Our Wrinkle Reduction Treatments
TempSure™ is a device that uses radiofrequency technology to tighten skin and decrease the appearance of cellulite.
The device emits energy that heats and tightens the proteins within the skin, without hurting or damaging the skin’s surface. This process also triggers collagen production, resulting in tighter, firmer, and more elastic skin with fewer wrinkles.
Many facial wrinkles like crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles develop due to muscle movement. When the muscle moves underneath the skin, the skin folds, causing a crease. However, if you stop the muscle from making repetitive motions, that crease will eventually smooth out.
Botulinum toxin injections temporarily stop specific muscles from moving under the skin and causing wrinkles. The results can last up to 12 weeks, depending on the injection formula, treatment area, and the number of times you’ve already undergone treatment.
Collagen plays a role in your body’s ability to heal itself. As a result, select injuries can increase collagen production.
Micro-needling is a treatment that uses a handheld device called the InnoPen. The end of the device contains very small needles, which, when gently applied to the skin, cause tiny pin-pricks. These little punctures stimulate the body’s healing process, which causes an increase in collagen production.
We use a topical anesthetic to reduce any discomfort during your treatment session. You may have some redness and sensitivity after the procedure, which should dissipate within a few days. Patients usually notice results a couple of weeks after treatment.
In addition to smoothing out the appearance of wrinkles, micro-needling can also be used to treat acne scars and reduce the appearance of large pores.
Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is a substance we create by removing the red and white blood cells from a sample of your blood. The platelets in PRP play a critical role in your body’s ability to heal.
We can inject PRP into wrinkle-prone areas of your skin. When the platelet cells are injected back into your tissue, they trigger your body’s healing response. As part of that response, your body produces more collagen-rich tissue, which restores some of your skin’s firmness and elasticity, reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
